It’s well known that Madrid was built upon water, but the city facilities are yet unable to manage the latest heavy rainfall.

The strategies we have designed to address this problem are focused on buffering the impact of rainfall. However, we could plan our cities as real buffers, absorbing the extra water so as to use it for urban agriculture.
