2019 / Hand-made lamp

Helios, the Greek God of the Sun, was the one who brought the Sun across the skies, riding a golden chariot, from the east to the west.

The lamp is composed of two main section and the bulb. The lower body holds the electrical mechanism, protected with a fire-resistant paint. The upper “cage” fits into the wood base through four connectors, getting that way a single object.

Steel and wood are the foundations of the hole lamp, complemented by a handcrafted process of spinning, which add that final touch of elegance.
